The signal is set for Hounds Hill. Std class 4 from Leamington awaits. The centre signal is for the Burrow Hill Through lines whilst the one on the left gives access to Burrow Hill platforms. The dumb-bell curve in that picture which connects the fiddle-yards is a tight 26" radius, which is why we do our best to hide it as best as we can. Even so, the loco & coaches look silly if in full view. Most OO railway stuff will negotiate 18" rad curves. Some train-sets come with 14" curves. True to scale, our sharpest radius for a std mainline should be 70". That would require a room fourteen feet wide so as to fit that curve in.
