This jub' was the first of Bachmann's flywheel motor locos, but still retaining the split block chassis. So it must be over twenty years old. I have 'Orion' which has their first spam-can motor which is a good runner which I bought at a bankrupt stock auction in Stratford. I paid ?11 ( normal price then about ?15). I have their latest hd jub which is also on the layout now. I like jubs. Most weekends we replace at least one, possibly two locos on the railway. It would take nearly two years to run them all on the railway at that rate of exchange. I hope that I live long enough to see this jub again.
