I found a post on Facebook by his son, saying that he "passed away peacefully aged 80 on Thursday 10th March".
He was a gentleman, and always a pleasure to chat with at our forum breakfasts. He was also responsible for demolishing much of old Coventry, but it was his job after all, so we can't lay any blame with Norman for that!
I know our thoughts will be with his family at this difficult time. |

I was always grateful for him taking me round Webster’s Bricks in 2012.
As you say, he demolished much of the city, but he had a keen interest in Coventry and its history.
RIP Norm. |
