	Hi & thank you MR.
Please ensure that your bank cards are kept secure, so that unintended transactions are not included. Please don't keep them in the same wallet as your bus pass or travel cards. It's not just criminality issues, you could find that you have transacted a purchase or service with more than one card.

To attempt to combat any fraud by this method (i.e. people placing a card reader next to your wallet-carrying pocket in the hope of making a quick sneaky transaction), I've lined an unused pocket of my wallet with silver foil, so the card is effectively shielded on both sides.
In my initial attempt at this, the bare foil soon fell apart, so I've now used layers of wide packing tape over the foil to strengthen it. Fingers crossed that it works!

Just a reminder to all that most card issuers will allow you to opt out of contactless if you want to.
Those choosing to opt out are issued a new card that is not contactless equipped and use 'Chip and PIN' instead.
To opt out, just contact your card issuer.

Every time, Fourmilier. For me, contactless are untouchable (or could we say contactless). I have not had one from the time they were introduced and shall not be getting one in the future.

One very annoying part of contactless is that you can be robbed because the thief doesn't need the pin but you can't get a refund without one.
