Philip, you have been to the same websites as me. There are about 160 meanings I have found so far but none, I think, apply. However, if you look under Coventry History Articles, on your very own (or Rob's) website, "Not Forgotten" the 1939 IRA bomb attack by by Simon Shaw, there is a reference to it. It may give a clue as to where to go?

P.S.A. is an abbreviation for 'Pleasant Sunday Afternoon' Meetings! I am on the wrong computer for sending over the article but it was mentioned in 1892 in the Coventry Herald, they held the meetings at the Chapel.

I think Annewiggy cracked it. The P.S.A. started in the Black Country, have a look at the Black Country Society website.

I am, I am!!
Hope you all ok. Yes, thank you Annewiggy. Makes much more sense to put up a sign that is not a religious divide. |
