We'll let him off - at least the name is still trading. Just wish the car brand would make a return. I think BMW still own those naming rights.

Neil, a lot of these "Hinckley jobs" are made in the far east, as was mine. I bought it new 6 years ago and it's never put a foot wrong (should I have said that ?).

I didn't realise that before Mr Bloor purchased it, it was called Triumph Engineering and not Triumph Motorcycles.

Steve and his team mates at Meriden collecting their bikes prior to competing in the International 6 day trial held in Germany in 1964.
The guy in the white T shirt is Bud Ekins, it was he who jumped the fence on the motorbike in the film, The Great Escape.
Unfortunately McQueen failed to finish.
Good memories for me as I had a similar model, like many, I wish I had still got it.
