I don't think that it's the Holyhead Road either because there are no front gardens. You're right, it's not Cow Lane but you're looking for somewhere oldish, because of the lack of garden. |

So I was going to post a question about one of the kids' sketches with clues about where it might be. However after a burst of random inspiration I worked out what the sign was meant to be. Amos Sad, turns out to be John Amos, saddler at 30 Cook Street. ![]() ![]() |

Great idea Anne. I typed in Holyhead Road and milk cart and it looks like the picture is Wednesbury. |
