Hello,
This is a current website photo inside Earlsdon Methodist church, with I believe Will, at the helm of their pipe organ. To the far left of the picture.

Hello all,
I'm trying to locate a supplier of the house scarves from the 70s. Any ideas?
Failing that, I'd be obliged if anyone has a house scarf and could supply the dimensions, I can get one made.
Thanks in hope and anticipation.

Hello,
The name Gibberts or Gibberds comes into mind, at the bottom of the Burges.
Can someone help me out with the spelling please.

Looking through 1970's CET for School uniform suppliers for Henry Viii it comes up with Arthur Hammon in the Burgess, Gibbered in the Lower Precinct and Batts in the Precinct. I very much doubt if any of them are still going

Hello Anne,
Thank you.
It was Arthur Hammon who my parents used in the Fifties. Gibbered might have had a temp shop near the art gallery before moving to the Burgess. That's very sketchy in my memory.

Yes,
The Co-op did a whole range of school uniforms, but I cannot ever remember mine coming from the Co. My mum was very Co-op, so maybe they didn't do Henry.

I think some schools were very specific as to where you had your uniform from. Henry was more upmarket than CC !

I think the Co-op did blazers without the very expensive embroidered badges. I hated the navy blue gabardine macs which always seemed to be too big at first and too small the next winter. Even my mum was glad when the school gave in and let us wear duffle coats.

My father in law may have fitted your family out from the Co-op Lindatee.
My two had the grey duffle coats.
