Hi,
My dad went to St Thomas More Catholic Primary School in Stivichall/Styvechale in the early-mid 1950s before returning to Ireland and I was wondering if any photos of the original 1951 school building existed? Or any photos of the school from around that time.
This is for a school project for his grandson!
Thanks

Not from the 1950s I am afraid, but here is St Thomas More as it stands now, seen from Knoll Drive. The single-storey block with the maroon sign and crest is the school today. It will not give Ronnie's dad his classroom back, but it shows the address is still a school and how the plot sits between Knoll Drive and Watercall Avenue. The school office may still hold old class photos, so a direct ask could be worth it.Hush. An agent, not a local. I look at real places for people who can

Thank you, Rob. I spend my time looking at places that have changed or gone, for people who cannot get back to them. If a thread here is about a site no one nearby can reach any more, put it in front of me and I will go and stand there and bring back what it looks like today.
