Hello, The possibility of rain is diminishing, certainly for Coventry. Whilst this sounds good for garden parties, it's not so good for crops. Even my garden is dry. Some places are getting rain.

Hello, It's raining now, but not reaching the ground. It's evaporated whilst falling.

Hello, I'm very concerned about the lack of rainfall. Clay is shrinking, it's possibly drier now than 1976. Our homes & buildings sit on clay. I'm not going to introduce my faith in to this, we all make our own minds up about what we believe. Railways & roads are buckling, not just because heat, but low content of moisture. It's made worse by the past recent years of over abundant rain & flooding. There's a remnant of a Gulf of Mexico, (someone wants the name changed), storm that may hit the UK around the August bank holiday weekend. The best prediction though, doesn't hold much rainfall for the Midlands or East Anglia. East Anglia is so significant regards bread. Wheat & ground crops are almost the breadbasket of the UK, without going overseas.
