	Hi,
I've been looking at a 1911 census of my Coventry ancestors and the address given is Queens Street, Coundon, Coventry.
I cannot find this on any maps. Could the name have changed to Queens Road?

Found this, not sure if it's the correct one?
"QUEEN STREET (1869) runs E. from Swanswell Street."

I have just checked the 1912-13 Spennells Directory and the only Queen Street is the one in Swanswell Ward, Hillfields as mentioned
If the OP will email me with the ancestor's name I will check to see if I can find out for sure

I found this photograph, described as Queen Street. I wonder if there's a tale to tell about the motorbike?

My mother, her brother and their parents survived the bomb which destroyed their house in Queen Street. They were in the cellar of a house opposite.
I'm not sure if this was either the November or April raids.
They were re-homed in Winchester Street and then another bomb took out a few houses at the top of the street at the junction with Canterbury Street.
Of course, nobody ever spoke about it

Love those top-shop weavers windows Prof! They would be a real sales-feature these days.

Sorry Neil, if they were still there today they would have lost the upper storey, June 1942. They were taking the upper storey off bomb damaged buildings!

No problem Neil. I find it a fascinating site, found lots if interesting facts for my own tree but I like looking for information about other things. So many times I am looking for one thing and another interesting picture pops up. When you retire (I know it is a long time yet!) you might find time to have a look yourself. You can search on it for free though and get a few lines of an article. If you ever find anything and would like to see the full article let me know.
