	Outside the Greyfriars block of apartments, on the corner of Greyfriars Road and Queen Victoria Road, is this sign. At first, I assumed they were all famous female Coventrians - but now I'm not so sure.
Can sks help with the identity of the first three?

	There was a Charles Bray, ribbon manufacturer whose wife was Caroline (Cara). Humanists - the Rosehill Circle. Friends of George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans).

Pearl Hyde - mayor
Billie Whitelaw - actress
Angela Brazil - socialite and author
I'd never have worked out that the names were famous women connected to Coventry. Well done MR!

	Ah yes Rob, that sounds much more plausible. Radiophonic Workshop, without which The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy would have been a lot less colourful.
