Headline:
Mild and unsettled with spells of rain this week
Today:
A widely cloudy start to the day, with rain soon arriving from the southwest. Some heavy and persistent spells through the afternoon, perhaps giving some challenging driving conditions for a time. Rather windy too, especially over higher ground. Mild. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Tonight:
Remaining wet with further spells of heavy rain this evening, however drier interludes will become more prolonged by the early hours of Wednesday morning. Mild and still rather cloudy. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
Wednesday:
Widely cloudy with rain soon arriving from the south. Heavy and persistent at times, especially in the west. Lighter winds than recent days, but still mild. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Remaining unsettled with further periods of rain, these heavy and persistent for some, interspersed with drier, clearer intervals. Staying breezy, and feeling colder with temperatures returning to average by Friday.

Hello Neil,
The taps look as though they will get turned off next week, but accompanied by a huge drop in temperatures. Shiver me timbers.
