In response to a particular enquiry from Annewiggy, I’ve created a gallery of weddings. I'm thinking of doing three more: culture, sport and locations. What do you think? I know how hard the scrolling is when there are 8,047 to get through! Mods note: There is now a separate thread here Thumbs up

Those would be the Moat House cottages in Canley. Not to be confused with the Crow Moat House that was once located in Earlsdon.

Hi all I've added 'Arthur Cooper - Coventry sports' as a gallery now. There's about 700 assets in there, covering running, football, rugby, boxing and a few others.

A picture of excavation by JB Shelton. I was wondering if it might be Baginton Castle. When compared to this sketch.

I've created two new galleries : Arthur Cooper - Streets and Buildings and Arthur Cooper - Youth Life. The buildings excludes the Cathedral as that has been added to by Friends of Coventry Cathedral. As ever, please look at the images with the captions on (toggle below where your letter name is) and please do add/amend to the spreadsheet. With grateful thanks. Best Ben

BK, I'm pretty sure that 'this lovely place' is the cottages across the River Sowe at Stoneleigh - accessed via Vicarage Road and the bridge pictured.

Well done, Vernon. Double thumbs up Called Motslow Cottage, apparently. The bridge features in a few photos, I suspect.

Yes, you're spot on! I had the feeling it had a "Stoneleigh-ish" look about it, too, but I wasn't sure exactly where to look, but thanks to you I've located it on Google Maps. (The view given by the link will look even more perfect if you have 3D or Google Earth enabled.)

The building in post 67 is the church of St Stanislaus Kostka in Springfield Road, just at the old Five Ways junction with Harnall Lane, Leicester Causeway, and Howard St.

Hi Neil I remember going to the Doll’s Hospital as a young child in the 1950s for some glass eyes for my Teddy, I think! It was in the area where they have moved a lot of old cottages (near St John’s Church/Queens Rd end?). Sorry, can’t recall the exact name of the street but it would have been fairly near the GEC.
