A very Charterhouse-looking medieval/Tudor building. Helen? Any ideas?

Here's one for you all - bit of archeology and housing. Looks obviously wartime, so one of Arthur's earliest.

The first one looks Eaton/St Patrick's Road area but they are some interesting sub-floor ruins and that style of house does not look very Cov to me.

It looks more like a training exercise than an actual wartime event. There are too many kids and smiling people for it to be real. The church spire looks a long way away so it's some way from the centre. Maybe up near St Nicholas Street? They also seem to have built an unnecessary bridge over cellars that could have been walked round.

Thanks all - intrigued by the kids upstairs in the house looking out on the affairs at hand. Perhaps it is training, good shout. Which ballroom is this?

It’s the Locarno, rotating stage and balconies all round. Now the library.

Cheylesmore Manor from the inside. The building on the right was the main building and despite the brick skin was properly old. The earliest range was long since gone but was behind the camera.
