Cliff and I debated over Maudslay being the elderly one in the hat within the collection though then Cliff pointed out Maudslay died in 1934 and there was a Standard Triumph logo in the background (which would mean circa 1945ish.) There's not much detail to go on for Much Park Street, Cliff but would be interesting to confirm. As mentioned they were not there long.

If anyone is interested in bidding, remember to sign up well in advance and be aware of the additional costs of the auction house and Saleroom online. A phone bid would be cheaper. Everything I've bid on went for far more money than I was prepared to pay, plus collection would be a pain. Other things I've wanted but thought were too expensive turned up on Ebay. As for where the photo was taken - I've no idea.

Brilliant scrutiny, good info too! Can't quite make up my mind, is that a reverse image of the doors in the photo at the bottom of post 171 (I mean, where it was taken, 1903, would be at MPS)

A rare image of an early trade plate, identified by the suffix letter M. The plate would have been red, still used today for trade plates.
