We had a stroll through the Uni recently & thought it was very attractive. The presence of lots of youngsters in the city gives it a very nice atmosphere. There's also lots of interesting shops and cafes popping up to serve the ones from other parts of the world, all of which makes Cov a more interesting place.

With my trip into town on Thursday I had chance to visit out Tourist Information Centre. It's appaling! What must tourists think of Coventry when the information and guides for them are hidden in a couple of pokey little rooms at the bottom of the cathedral tower. It is an assault on the eyes. I left without picking up so much as a city centre map. I am not deprecating the staff who run the booth but the people higher up who haven't found a better venue for them to work.

Why could they not replace this one? Or even have left it alone? - not a bad location, close to cathedrals and museum Oh my

Yes, it's terrible, a tourist information centre in Coventry's main tourist attraction?!?
