Thats briliant Rob, when I get a few hours spare I must try it!!! Just to add to your comment regarding "numbering" - can I point out that if people want to sort by numbers they will need to include "leading zero's" (eg, 01,02,03) just as you have done otherwise they will discover they appear in the wrong order (and if anyone plans to have more than one hundred photo's, sorted numerically, they will need to use TWO leading zero's eg; 001, 002, 003.... then one 011, 012,013 etc)

OK, it's update time again! I've now added an additional attribute that you can apply to each image or category.... "Display order". It's now a separate "integer", which basically means you no longer have to worry about leading zeros in your titles or other complications. The gallery will still sort your pictures by the "Title" as a secondary sort item, so if no sort order is specified then your current ordering will still hold true, as I've made every image default to an order of "1". But once you select a bunch of images to edit in any category and apply a number to each one, then your new selection order will take precedence. I hope this makes some sense! Oh.... just one more thing (remind anyone of someone?).... You might also notice that when you go to edit images/categories it's altered slightly. The large red link by each main category will now enable you to edit all categories at once, thus allowing you to easily number those too, in case you'd like to have your categories display in a particular order. And similary to images, one click now saves edits in all categories together. Simples!

Forum Mail

Good evening all ! I've been busy over the last few weeks developing our very own Historic Coventry Forum Mail System for your entertainment! You'll not need to change what you already do for the usual way to contact people, but now all the mail that you've been sending over the last few months will be available in one convenient place..... in the brown toolbar at the top or bottom of each page you will now find next to "Your profile" a Your mail link, and also a new "Contact moderators" button under the left side of the toolbar. Also, when you press the button to "Contact" another member, you'll see a new improved text-box in which you type your messages. And you no longer need to type the "secret" word into the validation box because it recognises that you're a logged in member. Oh... and messages you receive from members will now have a HC Forum-cream background, so they'll be instantly recognisable.... and they'll include any previous responses - indented, with the date of each - just like "real" mail! And any message over three months old will appear in your "Archive boxes" - you'll see 'em when you take a look (assuming you've sent any!) But apart from all that, nothing's changed really!!! Have fun - and as always, please let me know on this thread if anything doesn't work and I'll try my best to fix it. All the best, Rob
