I have a very soft spot for the two Ronnies and Ronnie Barker in particular because of his writing talent and looked a bit like my Dad. Ronnie Corbet looked a lot like my Aunt (boo, hiss), glasses and all but I tried not to blame him for it.

Hi all, The man on wireless said today is Monday Thursday. I'm totally mixed up! Why can't we have Saturday Wednesday?

If it was Saturday Wednesday I'd be late setting off for Coventry, and I'm really not ready yet. Lol

I have been pondering over this for a while now. We have all seen the ads on the TV for "We buy any car", where the driver and sometimes their children get out of the car and have a dance. Then throw the keys to the rep. Just wondered how they all get home ?

Hi all, Having a laugh is good for our sanity, well I'm sticking to that. I'm off with a friend for a breaky at the Wallace this morning. I wondered what pretext I could imagine for this momentous event. Someone keeps going on about a coronation, whatever, but my pretext is to scheme a plan to bring the Wallace monument from The Trossachs to the Wallace pub. I'm sure they wouldn't miss it.

In the run up to the forthcoming Rugby World Cup the England team have visited an orphanage. ''It was heartbreaking to look at their faces all so sad with no hope.'' said Jimmy aged 7.
