You were just in a very upmarket hide. If people can take photos from a shed, you can sneak up on birds however you like. What a great shot |

Hi Sir,
We are in between two high pressure systems, a few fluffy showers, very hit & miss for England.
The synopsis is for it to remain mostly dry & bright, even into next week.
Monday is the only iffy day, but temperatures start to recover. More on that by Saturday, hopefully. |

A couple of images from my backyard, taken from the kitchen window.
The Robins were getting a rough deal as the squirrel was hoovering up.
Then he brought his mate along, time for action.
They can't chew through one eighth inch wire.
The robins are happy to jump in and out of the cage.

They probably are this year - and probably not too surprising with the unusually warm September and October we've had so far. I hope we get a decently cold winter this year - I bought a lovely winter coat last year and haven't had the opportunity to use it yet! |
