Pam was doing a tally recently of her bird count. Our cul-de-sac is not out in the sticks, its not Slimbridge, its Holbrooks, but our bird count compares with our friends who live in Binley Woods or Fillongley. Even today when it has been grey & is just started raining, the holly tree is roost to birds, all year round. All of our neighbours are bird friendly, except our cat 'Odmemdod', and as I am typing this I can see the birds flitting between the tree & the hung bird food. Last Monday, we had a squirrel sitting on our window-sill, looking in! So, even on this grey coming out of winter Saturday morning, I have every reason to so enjoy living here. Must go as our lovely neighbour Joan has popped round.
