I take so many things for granted, my home for instance. Yet even in the UK, there are so many people who do not have such. The orginal scheme for the building of our houses in this cul-de-sack was provided by the Foleshill gas works, who wanted homes for their employees. Our lounge faces east so we benefit from the winter sun melting the frost & snow off our car & drive, the sun warms our lounge in the morning & in the summer our lounge stays cool, as the sun has move around. Our coldest room is the music & railway room which is due north, but is ideal for that purpose. So you see, I have little to entice me to move away after forty four years.
