In 1948 the gable end of no 24 collapsed, fortunately no one was injured. A lorry hit a piece of wood jutting out.

Am taking the opportunity of a lazy afternoon to browse through some of my old Warwickshire books. I can't find that we have had this one of New Street before. Neil has posted (Post no 7 on New Street topic) of almost the same view post war. From Warwickshire by Tudor Edwards.
