Only just joined this forum so apologies for being 10 years late to the party.
My mother who was a Greensmith lived at No 10 all of her childhood and the early part of her marriage. My dad Barry lived in Judds Lane till marriage and they eventually they left Alexandra Terrace to live in Wyken.
I spent a lot of my time at No 10 with my granddad and grandma. Hated the outside toilet at night when I was very young.
Granddad was the doorman at Lythalls Lane club and mum and dad's wedding reception was held there.
