It's deceptive MR. The bulb of the pipe in the second photo merges with a chimney in the background. Colourization of black and white photos was also very iffy and open to contradiction. The clock goes from black to brown!

In 1912 number 29 was William Clark tobacconist.

Philip, also known as the Bunny Run. It was a ritual where teens of the opposite sex walked in opposite directions around the streets eyeing each other up.

Thanks Bohica. I think I must have skipped to bed after I posted and should have explained to Philip. A little before his time I expect. In my later days we used to frequent the cafe for a Vienna steak and chips and a cuppa from the big man's giant metal teapot. Happy Days Thumbs up
