re.school lunches. Three of us always sat together -two always very hungry and one who was a very picky eater so her pals always helped her out. I realize now that she was unable to eat some food because of an intolerance. Nobody knew about those in the 50's and 60's.

However, rain is on the way so we poms have been needing the rain and now we may be getting what we wished for. Not reaching the snoozing stage yet but having a drink of sherry while I wait for Leo, my little pooch, to come in from the garden and settle for the evening. Guess what, I had a nice plate of fish and chips for tea tonight and I would rate it 7 out of 10. I supplied my own mushy peas. ! Keep well and I am looking forward to some more extensions to 'the village'.

Lindatee2002, Shh, but we used to call our school dinners 'Nun's food' while at St. Joseph's Convent. Very plain but when you are hungry you tend to eat anything.
