Hi Phil As Bob Dylan once said.......... Come writers and critics who prophesize with your pen And keep your eyes wide - the chance won't come again And don't speak too soon for the wheel's still in spin And there's no tellin' who that it's namin'! For the loser now will be later to win For the times they are a-changin'! And our knowledge of the world changes as time! We don't even truly know what time is, do we? But isn't it a pity that so many bad people take advantage of advances in science and technology - think of weapons and scams! Angry But I was also a big fan of Rupert - maybe that's where my love of rhyming poetry came from!

Hello Particularly for our Australian members. September 7-8, 2025 A total lunar eclipse, also known as a blood moon, will occur on September 7-8, 2025. The duration of totality will be 1 hour 22 minutes. The eclipse will be visible in Africa, Europe, Russia, Central Asia, South Asia and Australia. Also, 21 September 2025 Partial Solar Eclipse but not widely visible.

Hello, Anyway just chatting, the sky is clearing with our moon shining, very close to the planet Saturn. I hope that they don't bump into one another. That would be a heck of a bang, hey!

Hello, I'm so sorry. I said the bright object next to the moon was Saturn. Wrong. It's Jupiter. Saturn is visible, but much further to the south west. The moon has moved on considerably since my last post.
