This model in N gauge was my favorite at the show. Like me, the modellers here have pitched the railway at 50/50 which gives depth to it. The small scale is out of the question for me with my eyesight trouble. The principle of the operation is similar to my railway in having a fiddleyard behind the backscene. N gauge is very very small, so looped fiddleyards in this small scale work much better than my top & tail method which is fine for OO scale. To model this N layout in my scale of OO would require a village hall to house it. It requires four times the area, as here.
